Job Description
Position: Audit Manager
Isisekelo Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Manager on behalf of their client in Edenvale. As the Audit Manager you will play a crucial role in leading and executing financial audits for our clients. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire audit process from planning to reporting and ensuring that our clients financial statements are accurate and compliant with regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and detailoriented individual who enjoys working in a fastpaced and challenging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their business and identifying areas of risk.
- Lead and execute financial audits for assigned clients including risk assessment planning testing and reporting.
- Review and analyze complex financial statements to identify discrepancies or potential errors.
- Evaluate and improve internal controls policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices.
- Oversee and manage a team of auditors providing guidance and training when necessary.
- Act as a liaison between the client and the audit team addressing any issues or concerns that may arise during the audit process.
- Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to clients.
- Keep informed of changes in auditing regulations and industry developments.
Requirements:
Essential requirements:
- At least 8 years audit firm experience (preferably small to medium sized firms).
- At least 8 years CaseWare experience.
- Must have experience in managing and supervising audit teams.
- Must have experience in reporting directly to partners and dealing directly with clients.
- To be able to manage and take responsibility for a portfolio of clients.
- Must have audited clients within diverse industries.
- Minimum of BCompt or equivalent.
- Completed articles.
- Have your own vehicle
