Job Description
The Cyber Practitioner is a nonfaculty position fully supported by the Oklahoma Cyber Innovation Institute. The Cyber Practitioner will leverage priority research development and educational priorities for OCII to engage with industry and startup incubators and accelerators to determine immediate problem areas for new curriculum research and technology development problem solving experimentation intellectual property transfer and startup opportunities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS RESPONSIBILITIES : Provides support for the cyber activities and demands of OCII . Builds partnerships with other academic institutions to advance cyber activities. Leverage best practices lessons learned and proven processes of government agencies like DoD NSA NSF DoE and DHS to bolster and build TU cyber activities. Advises as a cyber expert on educational programming activities and events handson experiential classes mobile classes and camps. Works with TU faculty to lend expertise for TU and OCII support functions such as cyber range professional services scaled power and pipeline systems networks autonomous vehicles and additive manufacturing. Reviews comments and advises on cyber technical documents. Evaluates and prepares for future cyber funding opportunities such as grants and donations. Liaises with TU Cyber Faculty TU Cyber Fellows and other cyber practitioners to maintain and build OCIIs expertise and reputation. Collaborates with other innovation agents to identify cyber opportunities and rapidly pursue those opportunities that align with TU and OCII goals and vision. Performs related responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelors degree; 35 years experience or an equivalent combination of experience training and/or education in an academic unit or similar environment Excellent oral written organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask work independently with initiative discretion and confidentiality Successfully work with a variety of administrative levels and diverse groups of people internally and externally to the institution Proficiency with standard office work applications

Masters degree.
