Duties include but are not limited to:
Perform all floor cleaning and maintenance duties for facilities using ServiceMaster provided tools and procedures. This may include: using backpack vacuums mopping shampooing or extracting carpets stripping and waxing floors buffing or burnishing moving furniture spot cleaning and other duties to achieve the desired outcomes.
The successful technician must have a thorough understanding of stripping and refinishing floors carpet cleaning identifying different flooring types as well as using the correct equipment and procedures for each. Technician will wear adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with chemicals and equipment.
Physical Demands and Qualifications:
Constant (up to 100 standing walking pushing kneeling twisting reaching
Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 75lbs.
2 years of experience as a floor tech is preferred.
We will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multitasked job is a must.
Contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform dependable and on time
Must be able to work from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM Monday through Friday.
Must be able to work weekends from time to time to complete projects.
Must have a valid drivers license clean driving record and clean background.
2 years of experience as a floor tech is preferred.
