The Role:
Cybercrime is the biggest threat that companies face today. Yubico has become the global standard for combating cyber attacks with phishingresistant authentication at scale. The great news is that Yubico has been adopted by 9 of the top 10 technology firms some of the largest financial institutions manufacturing companies retail/hospitality and healthcare organizations also use Yubico. We need help to expand even further.
Yubico is looking for a dynamic experienced Account Director to join our expanding enterprise sales team. This individual will work with our rapidly growing customer base and new business prospects to drive Yubico revenue and enterprise utilization. We welcome a strong detailed individual who has deep knowledge of the enterprise market.
Revenue booked is a critical measure but this role is so much more. Its also about changing the world and bringing trust back into our digital world for customers partners and their customers.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute your strategic and tactical business plan to drive revenue and large scale adoption of Yubico products and services within a set of named accounts
- Own the revenue number (sell to and sell through) for your area through:
- New customer acquisition
- Expand existing relationships within a set of installed base of accounts
- Define and land new strategic relationships
- Provide thought leadership to customers and when available at industry events
- Partner with Yubico Channel Managers for resale of Yubico solutions
- Develop strong champions who actively advocate for Yubico
- Work directly with BDR and Customer Success for customer lifecycle management
- Coordinate with internal resources in a dynamically growing business to deliver an outstanding customer experience
- When required work collaboratively with Solution Engineering to develop complex solutions
- Reporting to the VP Sales
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to build and manage your territory pulling in resources as needed
- Deep understanding and experience in selling technology to enterprise customers
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and marketplace; Identity & Access Management (IAM) is a plus for this role though not required
- Positive influence on your teammates and uplift the team around you
- Track record of overachievement in selling in both direct sales and through partners and SIs
- Comfortable having both business and highlevel technical conversations with a CTO CIO or CISO
- Consistently over achieve your goals
- This position is an individual contributor and field sales role
$140000 $155000 a year
Yubico offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work. This role has the annual salary range of $140000 to $155000 plus $140000 to $155000 target commission for a candidate located in the San Francisco Bay Area. For roles that are filled in other locations the compensation range will be based on data provided by the Radford McLagan Compensation Database from Aon. Final compensation is also based on a number of factors including but not limited to jobrelated knowledge skills and experience.
