Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance COE Director to lead the evolution of our Finance function. This role is pivotal in driving excellence across financial risks and controls (excluding testing) finance data and systems and the continuous improvement of the Finance function which includes Corporate Finance Financial Planning and Analytics (FP&A) and Treasury. The ideal candidate will possess a forwardthinking mindset strong analytical skills and a passion for process optimization and innovation.
Essential Duties and responsibilities:
Finance Data and Systems
- Serve as the key liaison between Finance and IT for finance system implementations upgrades and enhancements.
- Supports the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and strategy and manages optimization roadmap ideas and projects to improve efficiency including fostering a positive environment for change management. Responsible for leading testing and training activities where appropriate
- Acts as the subject matter expert for business knowledge of how systems processes and transactions work together between departments when they interact with Finance.
- Lead initiatives to optimize reporting tools dashboards and analytics to enhance decisionmaking across the Finance organization.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline financial operations and reporting.
- Drives the creation of practices templates policies tools to support knowledge transfer and efficiency across the finance function.
- Lead crossfunctional projects focused on process optimization cost efficiency and scalability.
- Develop and maintain a continuous improvement roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the Finance function remains innovative and competitive.
Financial Risks and Controls
- Establishes monitors and reviews annually the financial risk management framework and controls that ensure the highest level of accountability and risk mitigation/ internal control/regulatory compliance
- Develops and annually reviews/updates the Finance policies and procedures and ensures proper education training and reminders of the policies and procedures are completed appropriately across the teams or organization where applicable.
- Support audit (internal and external) readiness and respond to audit inquiries related to risk management and controls.
Finance Continuous Improvement
- Monitors for continuous improvement opportunities for the Finance Function including identifying process improvement opportunities ways to enhance collaboration and communication within finance teams and across finance teams etc. Ensures finance projects are aligned to strategic objectives; helps teams identify priorities and areas to work on; and ensures that these priorities are maintained with the Business Architecture team vs other initiatives.

Team Leadership
- Attracts retains and develops the Finance COE team via coaching mentoring career development and performance management feedback. Provides development and succession planning opportunities for team members
Qualifications:
- Professional CPA designation.
- 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting preferably in a Controller role including a minimum of 4 years in a leadership role with expertise in data and technology within finance functions.
- Deep understanding of Corporate Finance FP&A Treasury operations regulatory compliance internal controls risk assessment and finance transformation.
- Proficiency in ERP systems finance accounting and reporting tools with advanced Excel and BI tool capabilities.
- Proven track record to lead multiple projects delegate effectively and operationalize businesschanging initiatives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a focus on delivering results.
- Exceptional project management stakeholder engagement and communication skills with experience counseling senior executives.
- A proactive and innovative approach to problemsolving and process improvement.
- Expected travel for this role is 15
