Job Description
STV is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator to join our team and support financial operations for major infrastructure and transportation projects. The ideal candidate is highly detailoriented has a strong understanding of project financials and is proficient in tools such as Excel Power BI and SharePoint.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with Project Managers to develop expenditure forecasts including tracking purchase orders requisitions and planned work.
Facilitate monthly project cost accruals budget setup and budget transfers.
Lead monthly project controls meetings ensuring alignment of scope schedule budget and risks with project goals.
Track and communicate financial updates collaborating with management and funding departments.
Support accounting reclasses ensuring accuracy and alignment with the project financial plan.
Reconcile invoices and assist in cost certifications for project and program managers.
Prepare invoices and supplementary financial reports for costreimbursable projects.
Provide financial program support as needed for the assigned portfolio.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors degree with at least 5 years of experience in project financial and portfolio management OR
High school diploma with 8 years of experience in project financial and portfolio management
Proficiency in Excel Teams SharePoint and experience developing reports from financial and project systems
Preferred:
Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard creation and financial tracking
PMP Certification (Project Management Professional)
Compensation Range:
