Job Description
Economics Teacher Kingston Secondary School
An Outstanding secondary school in Kingston requires a knowledgeable and dedicated Economics Teacher to join their thriving department. This is a fulltime permanent position primarily teaching Key Stages 4 and 5.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Economics lessons.
- Develop students understanding of core economic principles theories and models.
- Foster critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Prepare students for success in Economics examinations (e.g. GCSE ALevel).
- Contribute to the development of the Economics curriculum.
- Teaching at an Outstanding school.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in Economics or a closely related field.
- Proven experience teaching Economics at the secondary level (Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for economics.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion to work as an Economics Teacher.
