Position Title: Database Administrator Role II
Department: Datacenter Engineering
Essential Job Functions:
- Positive and all in attitude.

- Understands follows and contributes to the refinement of team processes.
- Proactively identify and resolve system availability performance concerns as well as ensure system security.
- Create and maintain encryption and replication strategies between various database environments.
Required Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools.
- Experience with performance tuning utilizing indexes disk and query optimizations and other methods.
- Experience with database replication and failover mechanisms.
- Experience with encryption methodologies for databases.
- Experience with database clustering techniques.
- Experience with at least two of the following database technologies (Oracle Postgres MSSQL).
Education and Experience:
- Seven or more years of direct experience working as a Database Administrator.
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems Engineering or relevant experience.
