Supplier Quality Engineer 6 Month Project)
Workplace: 29651 GreerWhat to expect:
- 6 months temporary assignment 40 hours per week
- 80 90 travel (USA only mainly in southeastern states) to automotive manufacturing suppliers
- Conduct risk assessment on all injection molds
- Physical inspection of all molds at suppliers
- Taking pictures and verifying asset tags.
- Drafting and implementing contracts.
- Length of time spent at each manufacturing facility may vary.
- Tool/mold inspections evaluations risk assessments quality documentation reporting.
What you bring along:
- Indepth knowledge of plastic injection molds
- Knowledge and experience in Quality practices and Quality management for automotive manufacturing standards.
- Project management skills.
- Basic tool knowledge to coordinate tool movement opening and gathering information.
We are seeking a project Quality Engineer to travel in the southeast part of the US to manufacturing locations to perform plastic injection molding (PIM) inspections and evaluations conducting risk assessments.
