Scan Clerk
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for producing digital copies for department in order to maximize efficiencies in stores.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers respond to customer questions/requests/complaints and explain store policies.
- Organizes and prepares documents for scanning
- Records information to include date and department
- Performs accurate and complete data entry; investigating questionable information
- Notifies specific department if there are any discrepancies
- Utilizes computer system and department processes to create digital filing system to include sorting by type.
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested by management with assistance to IT department if necessary.
Qualifications
Education(required):
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) Required
Experience(required):
- 1 year experience in an office related position preferred.
Competencies (Knowledge Skills and Abilities):
- Ability to give/receive complex verbal instructions/descriptions to/from supervisors/coworkers/employees concerning store/department policy/procedures and use of equipment.
- The ability to read and write English.
- Basic Data entry and computer skills
- Organization and attention to detail is a must.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Standing/ walking up 100 of work hours.
- Hand use: Grasping manipulation pushing and pulling. Work also may require bending squatting and reaching.
- Exposure to temperatures: Freezing <32 degrees Fahrenheit) and warm temperatures >90 degrees Fahrenheit). Ability to work in cold and wet environments.
Work Environment Note:
Inside work with transitions of heat/cold/humidity/dust from backdoor/compressors/cooler/freezer/preparation area.
