About the Position:
- Candidate shall maintain accountability statistics for the Transition Assistance Program in AFFIRST.
- Candidate shall provide daily signup sheets for Transition Assistance Program workshops/classes.
- Candidate shall be able to plan organize work and meet deadlines.
- Candidate shall maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner and compliance with privacy act information.
- Candidate shall contact all workshop/seminar participants via email and/or telephone prior to class start date to confirm attendance.
Requirements
Qualifications Skills and Experience Required:
- High School Diploma with 12 years of relevant experience required
- Candidate shall be competent in operating personal computer systems and Microsoft Office Products.
- Basic communication skills are essential for dealing with Federal Client Center staff.
- Candidate should have a basic understanding of military protocol support group organizations understanding of family systems in a military setting and poses the ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse population.
- Candidate is required to dress appropriately for a professional atmosphere
- Candidate must be familiar with internet data bases.
- Candidate must have a minimum of at least six months of data entry experience.
- Candidate must be familiar with using a personal computer and proficient with Microsoft computer software applications.
- Candidate must have the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Candidate shall have knowledge of various office automation software programs tools and techniques to support program and produce a variety of documents such as emails reports spreadsheets databases and graphs.
- Candidate must be skilled in typing and working with a variety of office equipment.
- Ability to locate assemble and compose information for routine reports inquiries and nontechnical correspondence is required.
- Candidate shall communicate effectively both orally and in writing using tact and courtesy.
- Must be able to read write speak and understand English.
