The Production Plant Technician has the responsibility for the operation and control of equipment used in air separation vacuum swing absorption and carbon dioxide plants.; also accountability for the care and maintenance of plant mechanical instrumentation and electrical devices and equipment. Required Qualifications
Advanced technical training in chemical plant operations with refrigeration screw compressors reciprocating compressors water treatment absorption beds and desiccant dryers analyzers and other process equipment required.
Understanding of control valve functions and systems used to control flows & pressures on industrial tanks
Experience troubleshooting equipment in a plant environment
Preferred Qualifications
Carbon Dioxide Plant or related industrial experience is a plus.
Water Treatment understanding the water treatment principles and equipment is a plus.
Refrigeration A basic understanding of refrigeration systems is a plus
Air Separation A basic understanding of air separation and associated technologies is a plus.
Electrical/ Instrumentation background is a plus.
