Engineering Document Coordinator Grand Rapids Michigan
DISHER is partnering with a motorcycle manufacturer in Grand Rapids Michigan to fill their Engineering Document Coordinator that will be responsible for the efficient and accurate management of all engineering documentation including drawings specifications and other related files. This role is critical for ensuring the smooth flow of information within the engineering department and across other departments within the organization.

What youll get to do:
Maintain and update electronic and hardcopy engineering documentation in a wellorganized and easily accessible system (e.g. PLM SharePoint etc..
Establish and maintain document numbering and version control systems.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all engineering documentation.
Conduct regular audits of engineering documentation to identify and address any discrepancies or inconsistencies.
Manage the release and distribution of engineering drawings to relevant departments and external stakeholders.
Track and maintain drawing revisions and changes.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of drawing registers.
Maintain and update engineering specifications and standards.
Provide document support to engineering projects including document preparation review and approval processes.
What will make you successful:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associates degree in Engineering Technology Drafting or a related field preferred.
2 years of experience in an engineering environment with a focus on document control.
Experience with CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD) is a plus.
Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
Experience with a PLM system or other document management software.
