About the Role:
Cleaners are responsible for cleaning restocking and organizing all areas of the restaurant including but not limited to the employee restrooms guest restrooms kitchen areas dining areas and storage areas. Janitors also regularly clean towels using the washing machine.
Working Schedule:
Number of Days: Must be available for 5 shifts per week
Weekend Availability: Required

Job Responsibilities & Tasks:
Reads understands and follows all guidelines with regards to the chemicals used in the restaurant
Wears personal protective equipment to ensure safety and avoiding contact with chemicals
Uses the proper chemical that is designated to each task in the restaurant
Cleans restocks and organizes all areas of the restaurant
Labels all items in accordance with Health Department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
Attends monthly staff meetings and Janitor meetings
Supporting Functions:
Keeps all kitchen areas clean and sanitized
Organizes items within the walkin coolers and freezers
Lifts/moves boxes bags chairs and tables (up to 50 pounds)
Assists with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen
Maintains confidentiality regarding all propriety information including but not limited to recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
