SalaryRange: $42732.80 $50127.00annually. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications.This position isExemptfrom theFair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions.

Summary
This position coordinates the daytoday administrative and operational activities for the Gateway Program Seminar program in collaboration with the GPS Faculty Director. This position supports program development schedules and coordinates GPS courses oversees the Peer Coach program coordinates staff professional development events and helps to recruit and retain student employees coordinates the human resource aspects of hiring and paying faculty and student workers and monitors and manages student enrollments. In collaboration with the GPS Faculty Director this position coordinates oversight of GPS Academic Prep and Learning Communities and ensures the smooth operation of business processes.
Essential Functions
- Supports program development and serves as a coordinator of components of the program as designated by the GPS Faculty Director.
- Coordinates with the GPS Faculty Director regarding program planning and activity monitors program progress and prepares documentation including fiscal reports and others as required. Prepares monitors and maintains reports outlining program developments.
- Acts as program representative for all human resource related tasks including but not limited to faculty and student employee contracts completion of all hire and termination paperwork and approval of submitted employee timesheets.
- In collaboration with the GPS Faculty Director coordinates GPS learning communities with faculty staff Director of Advising and Director of Housing to ensure correct student placement enrollments and communication with all stakeholders.
- In collaboration with the GPS Faculty Director coordinates GPS AcademicPrep with faculty staff Director of Extended Studies and Concurrent Enrollment to ensure correct student placement enrollments and communication with all stakeholders.
- Acts as Program representative and serves as primary contact regarding program activity in collaboration with the director provides information to students faculty and broader UCCS community regarding policies and schedules.
- With the Faculty Director plans and organizes and markets to students and faculty all academic professional development and other events including nonacademic events. Designs creates and prepares marketing materials for the program.
- With the faculty Director writes edits and coordinates development of course information educational materials promotional materials website information as appropriate to the program.
- May assist with grant/proposal writing as appropriate to the objectives and funding nature of the program or its various stakeholders.
- Performs specialized activities including coordination of Gateway Days Days of Service including the purchase of promotional items and more as needed.
- Coordinates activities of program support staff including recruitment retention and supervision of Peer Coaches each year for GPS courses.
- Coordinates programs in the absence of the Faculty Director.
- Performs miscellaneous jobrelated duties as assigned.
