Job Description

Position:Audiology Training Manager

Reports to Title:Sales Director

Department/Division:Key Retail

Primary Work Location:Bloomington MN

Position Overview

As an Audiology Training Manager at Jabra you will play a crucial role in educating and empowering dispensers to deliver exceptional hearing care solutions. This role focuses on developing training content conducting product and software training and providing audiological support to enhance customer knowledge and satisfaction. This position also includes providing audiology technical and product training to the Key Retail sales team.

Essential Functions (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Conduct product and software training sessions for customers ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to maximize the benefits of Jabra solutions.
  • Provide expert audiological support including hearing aid fitting guidance and troubleshooting assistance to customers and team members both inperson and remotely.
  • Create educational training content including webinars presentations and training documents to support Key Retail learning initiatives.
  • Coordinate with customer and internal teams on product launch planning and deliverables.
  • Develop video tutorials elearning modules and interactive guides to support remote learning initiatives.
  • Gather and prioritize requirements and requests from customer for new features and functionality for apps software and hearing aids.
  • Evaluate new fitting software functionality and benefits for the sales team and customers.
  • Monitor Customer Concern Log and SFDC complaints to identify areas of customer dissatisfaction and provide structured feedback to product and quality teams for improvements.
  • Play key role in promotion and demonstration of hearing aid technology during launch trainings.
  • Partner with audiology and fitting software teams to ensure alignment on the latest customer fitting and verification protocols and how to optimize GN technology to meet customers benchmarks.
  • Represent at customer events and conferences as a subject matter expert.
  • Create comprehensive training resources to help customers and sales teams quickly resolve common product issues such as FAQs tech tips job aids and troubleshooting guides.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends audiology advancements and competitive products to ensure training content remains relevant and impactful.
  • Function as a liaison with ReSound FTA team to share best content ideas and technology talk tracks.
  • Interact with Marketing Sales Customer Service Product Management Technical Support and Research & Development to ensure a quality customer experience.
  • Provide feedback to Product Management and Research & Development teams regarding user experience training needs and potential product improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Competencies (Knowledge and Skills needed for this position.

  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences.
  • Experience in hearing aid fitting troubleshooting and working with audiologyrelated software.
  • Ability to translate complex audiological concepts into clear practical training content.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to conduct training and attend industry events.
  • Follow the HR policy including all company and department policies and procedures.
  • Meet all performance and behavior expectations outlined in the company performance appraisal P2E/IDP and those communicated by management.
  • Perform responsibilities as directed achieving desired results within expected times and with a high degree of quality and professionalism.
  • Demonstrate the behavioral and technical competencies necessary to effectively complete position responsibilities. Take personal initiative for technical and professional development.
  • Safeguard sensitive and confidential Company information.
  • Able to resolve problems and complex issues at higher levels.
  • Excellent computer skills using PowerPoint Word Outlook SFDC (CRM) and Excel
  • Proficient with oral and written communication and with conducting presentations

Desired Qualifications

Preferred Education: AuD or PhD in Audiology. Masters Degree in Audiology considered. Current state license in Audiology.

Experience: 2 years of hearing aid dispensing (post externship)

Travel: Up to 50

Pay Transparency Notice:

Depending on your work location the target annual salary for this position can range from $100000 to $125000. In addition you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Compensation for roles at GN depend on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location role skill set and level of experience.
