General Accountant - Real Estate

Job Description

• Prepare financial records & reports for a variety of real estate transactions, which includes property sales, rentals, leases & time-sharing.
• Reports may include items such as development expenses, operational costs & profits.
• Handle all accounts payable & receivable on a daily basis to make sure each invoice & expense report is accurate.
• Prepare for quarterly reporting using standard best practices & assist in monthly closings.
• Facilitates all incoming payments & outgoing checks, including printing, obtaining signatures, and distributing checks as necessary.
• Follow up with vendors for collections & to make sure that bills are paid on time.

Job Requirements

• 4+ Years of experience in General Accounting, Payable & Receivable in Real Estate Development.
• Cairo Residents.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree.
• Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
