Responsibilities
We envisage success in this role to include;
- Assisting RE with correspondence, submittals and RFI's to the contractors.
- Assigning duties and supervising staff on a daily basis ensuring contractor activities are adequately covered.
- Evaluating technical and financial proposals, technology development and solving technical problem that may arise during construction.
- Implementing KEO HSSE site safety standards and procedures daily with contractors.
- Effectively communicating project milestones and goals with staff.
- Preparing and managing project reports to facilitate progress of the work's quality technical conformance, safety and other matters.
- Supervising and inspecting site works on a daily basis with continuous monitoring of the labour working in critical areas for all matters of quality, safety and progress in compliance with procedures.
- Preparing, submitting and managing non-conformance and site deficiency notifications to site manager for their issuance to the contractor.
- Comprehensive knowledge of design, construction techniques, procedures, codes & standards.
- Strong team leadership with good soft-people skills essential in communicating directly with staff, clients, consultants, agencies, local authorities, and other KEO staff.
- Understanding, identifying and assessing project risk and provide solutions to complex issues, appropriately involving staff in the decision making process.
