Devops Engineer

Job Description

• Responsible for the design, creation, configuration and delivery of cloud infrastructure environments using automation best practices and a proactive strategy.
• Responsible for developing and driving improvements, maintaining/monitoring production and non-production systems, ensuring platforms perform at maximum efficiency and security.
• Implement automation to help deploy our services and maintain their operational health
• Ensure systems and people are adhering to process and identify where this is not happening
• Develop and maintain solutions for highly resilient services and infrastructure
• Troubleshoot/resolve SSL, firewall and other network issues when needed
• Documenting and updating processes and procedures for ongoing infrastructure improvements
• Collaborating with multiple departments to resolve system, application and customer issues.

Job Requirements

• Hands-on 4+ years of recent technical experience in Professional Services/Enterprise DevOps role.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in multiple functional areas are required; such as infrastructure configuration management, Excellent Programming Skills in at least one modern high-level programming language like Python, Ruby, JavaScript, Node.JS, or others , logging system and network protocols and standards.
• The ability to spend substantial time interfacing with the offshore teams on a daily basis.
• Expertise in DevOps tools Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Jira
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or other IT-related field.
• Fluent in English with excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills.
• Strong sense of ownership, critical thinking, and ability to drive DevOps mindset initiatives across teams for agile release.
