Senior Internal Auditor

oDirects the activities of assigned Internal Auditors and recommends to supervisor suitable areas for audit, and/or receives instructions to carry out an audit assignment in a specific area.

oProvides assurance over the financial and operational integrity of internal controls within BAS and continuously considers opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the business.

oPrepares detailed audit programs.Includes planning audit tests and defining audit procedures, including the use of established sampling techniques, and identifies key control points to evaluate possible exposure to financial loss.

oCarries out the audit in accordance with the established program. Includes allocating sections of the program to assistants, supervising work progress, and coaching.

oPrepares audit report. Includes preparing draft report for summarizing observations and exceptions, discussing with relevant personnel in the section/unit reviewed to establish accuracy, and submitting final report to Snr Manager Internal Audit (including his findings on the adequacy and effectiveness of the systems and controls reviewed) together with recommendations.
