Cost Engineer (Contracting)

Roles & Responsibilities

■ To work independently in the day to day operation of the projects and tasks assigned.

■ You are required to swiftly familiarize with all requirements of any task assigned.

■ To supervise, co-ordinate and assist your team of workers / sub-contractors to ensure smooth operations.

■ To attend project meetings, site safety meetings, co-ordination meetings etc., as and when required by the project/projects.

■ To control and monitor all materials, claims and costs of the project/projects.

■ You are to report to the Project Manager and Management on all the project matters.

■ To attend site showrounds, provide tender costings and quotations as and when required.

■ To assist and co-operate with other staff in office works including updating of datas and records, drawings etc. for ISO compliance.

■ To carry out any other related duties which may be later assigned to you by themanagement.

• Diploma or degree in engineering or minimum 4 years of relevant experience

• Ability to work independently

• Monitors and analyzes project cost estimates, expenditures, and forecasts.

• Requires technical knowledge of the construction work involved.

• Ability to use cost-estimating methods.

• To attend site show rounds and other meetings as and when required.

• To work closely with all staff and IMS compliance purposes.
