Laboratory Technician - Farms

1. Performs chemical/physical and organoleptic analysis on all incoming raw and packaging materials, product in process and finished product for milk and juices.

2. Ensures that all products comply with company quality standards

3. Performs laboratory technician assignments on a regular basis that are recognized as the most complex.

4. Performs chemical/physical analysis of all water types in plant.

5. Assures the work quantity and quality by requiring strict adherence to methods and procedures.

6. Keeps laboratory environment and equipment in good working order

7. Prepares all laboratory chemicals according to standards

8. Prepares all chemical lab reports as required on time.

9. Analyzes biochemical and other data under the direction of professional staff and prepares reports.

10. Maintains personal standards at the highest level and to be a role model for fellow employees.

11. Utilizing state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, including Vitek , ELISA, PCR, and more

12. Analyzing milk for more than a dozen components and characteristics including butterfat, protein, lactose, solids-non-fat, somatic cell count, MUN, Johne's, leukosis, BVD, and more
