Utility Technician

1. Carry out planned preventive maintenance to centralized HVAC (Heating & Ventilation Air Conditioning system), reverse osmosis plant, sewage water treatment plant, compressor and air supply system, ammonia plant, gas-fired boiler & centralized steam supply system, medium to low voltage supply system, fire detection & alarm and electrical system and components.

2. Attend to scheduled shutdown maintenance and provide servicing to refrigeration system and components e.g. gas compressors, condensers, evaporators, electrical controls etc. Also, mechanical systems and equipment e.g. boilers, air compressor units, stan by generating sets, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, RO plants, deep well pumps, sewage treatment plant, electrical systems and component.

3. Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting to utility mechanical equipment.

4. Request for appropriate/suitable PTW as required e.g., working at height, hot work, heavy lift, confined space, entry into unguarded machines, work on energized electrical panels, MV/LV, etc.

5. Apply LOTO procedures and other isolation techniques.

6. Conduct thermal scanning for all electrical panels and preparation of reports based on the findings.

7. Operation and monitoring of utility equipment.
