Job Description
- An understanding of effective electrical inspection processes, technical submittals and drawing review.
- Serve as the site representative for all matters related to construction quality assurance of electrical works. This includes reviewing contractor’s electrical/technical submittals, shop drawings, value engineering proposals and RFI’s.
- Review contractor’s electrical change order proposals and prepare any appropriate recommendations to MEP Manager for review.
- Demonstrated experience and capability in all aspects of electrical engineering within construction, including HV and MV distribution, ELV systems such as Fire Alarm, IT, A/V, CCTV and Access control, plus underground utilities.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive client relationship and professional firm image.
- Ability to understand, identify and assess project risk.
