• Accountable delivery for allocated sales/business plans within sector/geography but sells all of Jacobs to clients, not solely services residing with partnered Operating Unit (OU).
• Partners with Operations to deliver OU growth targets.
• Conducts the research and analysis of business opportunities within an identified business segment or target market.
• Assesses the competition and potential markets within the overall company growth objectives.
• Prospects, develops, and closes a continuous pipeline of sales opportunities.
• Serves as Outside Sales Lead with responsibility for proposal strategy, preparation, submittal, and/or implementation upon award for specific pursuits.
• Ensures consistent application of the company’s Relationship Based Sales (RBS) process, including by not limited to, compliance of corporate policies and processes and maintenance of data within CSP.
• Develops value propositions that enhance Jacobs’ competitive position and achieve client objectives.
• Identifies key personnel for contracts/task bids/proposals
• Recommends strategic hires, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures when appropriate in support of business development strategies.
