Job Description

JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY

Develop new products in Transaction banking area, including but not limited to Cash, Trade and eChannel , to keep the bank ahead of competition and support promotion of alternative ways to bank for the customers including from remote banking

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITES

  • Define and Design - Concepts – New requirements based on customer demand/ Competitors’ offerings /Latest market development
  • Draft proposals to obtain suitable approvals to proceed including for incurring expenditure / budget allocation etc Formalise the Requirements with Business Analyst / Project management / InfoTech Teams for development of solutions
  • Manage UAT and roll our reports for monitoring the functioning of the proposed enhancements / new solutions offered
  • Develop product manual, user guide, marketing materials, training plan etc for roll out.
  • Draft sales and after sales SOP as appropriate, including BCP / DRS plans
  • Lay down control measures to ensure quality of the offering at acceptance costs and within the compliance checks and balances while assuring best user experience from customer perspective
  • Continuously review the existing offerings and identify, gaps if any as well as opportunity for improvement of systems, procedures, practices, processes, in line with international developments
  • Organise Information and Reports on behalf of Transaction Banking for reporting to Sr Management on the functioning of the Dept as well as the status of the various products /Projects.
  • Suitably Interact with Internal stakeholders like other businesses, InfoTech, PMO, Marketing, Cash and Trade Ops, Vendors, Relationship teams as well as Pilot customers
  • Ensure all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to as appropriate so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Required Experience:

  • 10 Years’ experience in financial Service sector; 10 + Years’ experience in cash /Trade Finance/Ops/Product area
