Job Description
- Reviews contracts to determine what documentation is required for each phase of the project. Confers with engineers, managers, customers, and others to discuss the project, prepare documents, or modify contract schedules.
- Schedule due dates for drawings, specifications, software, technical manuals, and other documents
- Monitors the status of the project to ensure documentation is submitted according to schedule. Reviews and verifies project documents for completeness, format, and compliance with contract requirements
- Submits project documentation to management for approval, and transmits approved documents to the customer
- Responsible for the design of new wells and improvements to current producing wells
- Monitoring well performance, participating in failure analysis on surface and down-hole equipment and optimizing wells to ensure maximum efficiency and cost effective performance. Liaison with Optimization engineers and monitoring technicians to update status of operation of wells
- Other areas of focus include reducing failure frequency by correcting design and operating procedures as well as introducing and applying new technologies. It is essential to collaborate with down-hole specialists, well analysts and operations engineers in providing designs and solutions to lift problems.
- Binding link between customer's operations team and project manager/operations lead team
- Assist in planning and coordinating training on products and services
- Maintain and track job data for designs and operations
