Job Description
- Design, install, upgrade, update, configure, and repair local and wide area network infrastructure and its components
- Install and integrate computer systems
- Windows systems administration including installing system security patches; review tasks and issues, and recommend changes to reduce problem recurrences
- Server management including regular monitoring and rectifying alerts
- Mailbox creation for new users, and resolution of Microsoft Outlook Issues
- Maintain methods, tools, and standards to maintain data center and/or server availability and performance
- Maintain network maps of all sites, and develop and coordinate network replacement plan
- DNS & DHCP administration in Active directory environment; active directory user and group management
- Microsoft WSUS and antivirus software configuration; firmware upgrade/update for servers and firewall
- Network firewall administration
- Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required system data are successfully backed up; SAN and NAS storage administration
- Document and maintain IT assets, asset allocation, software licenses, and other records as per the organization requirement
- Train site coordinators on simple network troubleshooting techniques
- Analyze & recommend IT requirements to the reporting manager and work on to enhance IT infrastructure
