Science Laboratory Technician

Job Description

• The Science Laboratory Technician at Notion International School has tasks to support the work of science teachers and their students. He/She should ensure that:
• All science equipment is functioning properly and is ready for use.
• The science laboratory is adequately supplied and that the right materials are available for particular lessons.
• When required, he/she may work closely with students to explain or demonstrate experiments or how to use equipment.
• He/she may also be tasked to assist/help teachers with a class and support individuals on research projects.

Job Requirements

• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in General Education appropriate to the post or related field..
• Possess good communication skills, highly organized and with clear, in-depth understanding of laboratory safety
• At least one year related work experience; previous laboratory technician experience preferred
• Taught IB PYP / MYP /DP during their career
• Courses or workshops for international education (preferably IB Workshops )
• Good organization skills
• Fluent English
• Good Computer skills
