Job Description
- Analyze the current road safety concerns in the CHT.
- Based on appropriate international good practices, recommend cost effective measures to maximize safety conditions on roads that are improved under the project.
- Work with the Deputy Team Leader/Rural Infrastructure Engineer and the Project Economists to incorporate the above measures into the road designs and project cost estimates.
- Prepare an operational manual on good rural road safety practices, and support capacity building of relevant CHT agency staff on the adoption of such practices.
