Job Description
- Responsible for day-to-day operations maintenance and administration activities of network & security infrastructure
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of Network Infrastructure services
- Support system engineering team in various system setup and configuration related to network architecture
- Replacing faulty network hardware components when required.
- Maintenance & Execution of Disaster Recovery Plan for network infrastructure
- Configuring Cisco based network system, Implementation & Configuration of all series of switches and Routers
- Configuration of multiple VLANS, VTP and interVLAN Routing applied cisco best practises.
- Implemented CiscoPrime infrastructure, configured and monitored the entire topology.
- Good knowledge of NMS (Network monitoring system) for Monitoring, Prioritizing and Analysing of bandwidth utilization, Network traffic,
- Network events and errors on core links to optimize better performance. Perform network inventory/diagrams, review and update, maintain documentations,
- Generating and Submission of periodic reports, Schedule Backups and Seamless
- Perform upgrades on periodically.
- Strong grip on the latest network technologies ( Switching: 802.1q, 802.1x, Spanning-tree, VTP, LACP, VPC, VXLAN, EVPN)
- Managing and Maintaining the Local Area Network (LAN) and Internet Connectivity.
- Shall be able to perform staging of Network equipment ranging from Core/Distribution/Access layers according the design.
- Record all the Network implementations cases from end to end involving all system interfaces, Physical security layer interfaces like CCTV, Access control, Video management systems.
- Troubleshoot assigned network incidents and problems within defined target time lines & plan customer facing activities.
- Prepare As built drawings.
- Ability to lead operation maintenance activities and report the work progress in detailed manner .
