Quality Management

• Working with quality team in implementation of hospital wide “Continuous Quality Improvement & Patient Safety” program.
• Assisting Quality Head to evaluate the need for quality improvement on an ongoing basis and identify opportunities to improve patient care and safety.
• To review policies and procedures relating to each function and make necessary revision and to advise changes in accreditation standards and maintaining compliances where necessary.
• To contribute to hospital-wide and departmental quality initiatives. Performing the assessment and analysis of operations and processes.
• Involve in Quality Improvement in-house training programs.
• To monitor and maintain the adherence to the standards laid by various accreditation bodies.
• To maintain documents of all quality system procedures and work instructions.
• Responsible for internal auditing of various hospital services on various quality standards.
• Responsible for identifying bottlenecks in processes, developing standards operating procedures to make the process error-free and formulating policies in coordination with the respective department head / consultant.
• To collect quality data and information and helping in data analysis. To maintain monthly quality data, coordinate with various other data sources and validating the same.
• Helping Quality Head to ensure the implementation of the policies and SOPs and monitor the same on a continuous basis.
• To help Quality Head in implementing Quality assurance protocols decided by Aster group.
• Assisting Quality Head and to coordinate patient safety and risk management program/activities of Aster.
• To take up any other quality initiative as decided by the management.
• To update the quality systems documents as and when required.
• To aid in quality improvement training and awareness
• To conduct internal quality audit as per the frequency decided.
• To co-ordinate with the HOD’s for the clearance of non-conformity and ensure CA & PA are taken when necessary.
