Underwriter

Job Description

• Performs initial screening of submitted requests for offers, policies, technical endorsements, assesses the related risks to generate quotations in line with the Allianz standards for risk definition

• Recommends to direct manager on acceptance of the risk within the company's underwriting limit

• Processes, issues, renews, and cancels simple policies and endorsements for head office, branches and offices within service standards

• Keeps up to date with company’s standards, policies, procedures, authority limits and service standards needed for the implementation of responsibilities

• Handles all correspondences with clients, maintains effective filing and follow up systems

• Ensures continuous self-development to keep up to date with the knowledge needed for effective performance
