Azure .Net Product Support Engineer

Job Description:
Oversee and guide comprehensive code and configuration analysis supporting production pilot and UAT application issues.
Lead and direct daytoday activities of 365x24x7 Application Support Operations team including specialists from L2 and L3 Application Support.
Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA) for all incidents.
Mentor and lead the Application Support team leveraging diverse technology backgrounds.
Support and optimize multitiered applications including UI frameworks web services and middleware components.
Guarantee application uptime standards are consistently met.
Supervise and ensure the implementation and deployment of code modifications across all servers adhering to change control protocols.
Guide and educate junior analysts in troubleshooting techniques and problemsolving skills for data and applicationrelated issues.
Provide strategic technical leadership for application integration and deployment collaborating with application development QA and systems engineering teams.
Mentor personnel in the optimization and tuning of applications and configurations for better performance and stability.
Provide seniorlevel experience to develop and/or secure adhoc tools and utilities for use by operations staff identify security issues in application code and design.
Manage the detection and resolution of underlying issues within applications ensuring effective problemsolving and remediation.
Provide guidance to design implement and automate application monitoring perform regular applicationlevel housekeeping activities and detect and eliminate performance bottlenecks in complex applications.
Support application integration projects and initiatives. Contribute to the resolution of issues impacting the successful daily operation of production applications.
Critique completed projects to determine variations from established processes and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Monitor new technological advances in Information Technologies through professional groups trade publications and personal networking.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or Information Security or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
8 to 10 years experience in application support role or application development.
Minimum of four 4 years experience in application support role with expertise in various technological background.
Minimum three 3 years experience in the financial services industry.
Support and development experience of the following technologies
o C# VB and ASP o Azure CDN App Services ASE Function app and App Insights (not limited to)
o HTML/CSS/JS/Angular/ReactJS o Oracle/MS SQL Server/PLSQL o Splunk/AppDynamics/Azure App Insights o Red hat OpenShift Container o Any Middleware technologies (MuleSoft/IBM ACE/IBM APIC is preferred)
Prior experience supporting cloud applications (AWS and Azure) and containers(Redhat Openshift)
Experience in various monitoring and logging tools like Splunk Appdynamics Solarwinds Azure Monitor/App Insights and AWS Cloud watch.
Demonstrated knowledge of technologies and application support operations practices; Strong troubleshooting skills across all areas of IT
Experience establishing SLAs and availability goals to meet business requirements and budget constraints; Ability to manage/develop departmental budget and identify areas for cost savings
Strong proven problemsolving skills with the ability to quickly analyze the most expedient method to recover business operations
Experience in leading data protection disaster recovery and business continuity operations
Ability to effectively communicate business impact and cost justification of initiatives; Ability to deliver compelling presentations; strong executives presence and influencing skills
Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects work in fastpaced environment and effectively prioritize in order to meet deadlines
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in making decisions; ability to build relationships across all layers of the organization and interact effectively with all levels of company personnel memberowners credit unions/prospects and vendors/partners
Strong analytical/critical thinking skills; Understanding of transformational potential of emerging technologies
