Job Description

  • Perform complex structural assembly on aircraft including mechanical assemblies subassemblies and system installations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair aircraft mechanical components and noncomplex electrical systems.
  • Modify and repair aircraft structures using specialized tools and techniques (e.g. match drilling riveting fastener installation).
  • Operate precision tools such as torque wrenches micrometers cable tensiometers and sheet metal brakes.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings process specs and technical orders.
  • Work with highhazard chemicals and comply with safety regulations.

Qualifications :

  • 710 years of onaircraft heavy structural experience.
  • 5 years in an MRO Repair Station AOG or Travel MODS environment.
  • 5 years of experience in aircraft assembly/disassembly.
  • 2 years of composites experience (preferred).
  • 2 years of Velocity and Radar experience (preferred).
  • Strong ability to identify and use common aircraft tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
  • Work Schedule: Ability to work variable shifts 1st 2nd or 3rd shifts

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift/carry 1035 pounds.
  • Frequent bending kneeling standing twisting reaching and climbing.
  • Work with highimpact vibratory tools (bucking/riveting).
  • Exposure to high noise levels chemicals and confined spaces.
