Job Description
Position: Nurse Practitioner
Shift: 1st Hours: 8:00am 5:00pm Type: FullTime
Mode: Direct Placement Pay: $50hr $75hr (Dependent on experience)
Our client is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner. This is a Direct Placement position with our key healthcare client. To be considered for this role you will need 25 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary and specialty healthcare services including diagnosis treatment and patient education.
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams and develop treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients on preventive care and health maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all medical laws and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP ANP AGNP or equivalent).
- Strong clinical decisionmaking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
