Job Description

Let us describe the challenge we offer

This critical role will lead Polestar Automotive Finlands retail sales team leading our team of sales advisorsand be in charge of both finance and insurance white label partnerships.

The position is located in our office in Helsinki and is an onsite position.You will report to the Head of Sales Finland. As a Retail Sales Manager you will plan and implement retail sales campaigns and be accountable for empowering our retailers Sales Managers in the region to achieve outstanding results. Within the Finnish organization youwill work closely with your colleagues in marketing operations and finance. You will have close contact with our global sales team as well as beingthemain point of contact for HQ in retail sales focused matters. Some domestic travel will be needed.

What youll do

The Retail Sales Manager will work closely with our Retail network and our partners Polestar Sales Managers ensuring that we deliver exceptional experiencesto our valued customers and achieve our monthly and yearly retail sales targets. You willcollaborate with the Head of Sales to develop and implement effective retail sales strategiesas well as plan and implement retail sales campaigns.You willlead and set clear performance expectations and goals for your Sales Advisor team. We expect you tokeep updated with market trends competitor activities and industry developments. In addition to this you will:

  • Set and measure sales targets to our Retail partners and support them to achieve the set targets
  • Provide coaching and training to enhance the sales skills and product knowledge of the retailers Sales Managers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our finance and insurance white label partners and other stakeholders within the region
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback to drive improvement
  • Build seamless cross functional cooperation between different departments to achieve given targets

Who you are

To be a great fit for this position we believe you are an experienced automotive professional who is highly motivated and result driven. You need to have a customercentric mindset and since Polestar is ina scaleup phase you need tothrive working in a fastpaced environment. We are looking for someone with astrong understanding of sales principles methods practices and techniques. You needthe ability and motivation toquickly demonstrate a mastery of all Polestar products and services.

You alsoneed the following qualifications:

  • Lower University degree (MBA) or Bachelors degree in business or other suitable examination (masters degree preferred).
  • More than 5 years of experience with Automotive in a clientoriented environment.
  • Knowledge of the market and customer preferences in Finland
  • Experience in leadership and people management. Preferred 3 years or more.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make datadriven decisions.
  • Planning and implementing both tactical & financial campaigns
  • Fluent Finnish and English
  • Good overall system knowledge (excel power point salesforce teams etc.
