Global Payroll Specialist
Salary: $100K $115K
Location: Vancouver
Our well established Vancouver client is seeking a Global Payroll Specialist to join their team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager the Global Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing Canada US and international crossborder payroll including taxrelated matters.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare Canadian and US payrollrelated tax forms waivers and applications
- Perform monthly payroll tax calculations including equity sourcing
- Coordinate payroll requirements for expatriate payrolls
- Reconcile payrollrelated accounts
- Crosstrain payroll team members with a focus on tax knowledge
- Take on payrollrelated projects as needed
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree in Finance Tax Accounting or Business
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a public accounting firm
- Indepth tax course is an asset
- Experience working with international payroll service providers
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize adapt and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible work schedule available
