Pharmacist
Tucson AZ United States
- Hourly Rate: $70.47 $34.80 taxable $35.67 nontaxable)
- Weekly Breakdown: $2959.60 $1461 taxable $1498 stipend)
- Lodging: $999
- Meals & Incidentals: $499
- Contract: 13 Weeks

- Shift: Day shift 11:30 AM 10:00 PM)
- 48hour Guarantee available

Position Overview:
The Pharmacist ensures safe and effective medication distribution. They work with healthcare teams to optimize drug therapy and provide patient education. This role requires compliance with all regulations and strong clinical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Educate and support healthcare staff and patients on medication use.
- Participate in emergency response situations and provide expertise.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- License: Active Pharmacist License in Arizona
- Certifications: ACLS & BLS (ACLS required)
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in hospital pharmacy setting
- EMR System: Experience with Cerner preferred
Additional Information:
- No L&D or NICU services at the hospital.
- Average daily census: 40 patients.
- Experienced support staff available at both the hospital and regional level.
