Contract Details:
This is a temporary position for a Registered Nurse to work in the Emergency Room of a medical facility. The contract length is for a specified period of time with the possibility of extension based on performance and facility needs.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team and work in the Emergency Room of a medical facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care and be able to provide compassionate and efficient care to patients in critical situations.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room setting
Assess and triage patients based on their condition and urgency of treatment
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment plans
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols
Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare team members
Requirements:
Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the Emergency Room setting
BLS ACLS TNCC & PALS (but we will accept ENPC) is required
2 professional references.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fastpaced environment
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
