Location: US Remote West Coast Hawaii Alaska
Work hours: 8 am to 5 pm with the flexibility to adjust hours to collaborate with a globally diverse team
Travel: up to 9 days per year; domestic or international travel (e.g. Europe or Southeast Asia) for an annual general meeting

We believe finance is more than just numbersempowering people shaping culture and fueling our mission. As our Finance Director youll play a critical role in ensuring financial sustainability driving smart decisionmaking and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
As our Finance Director youll be at the heart of our organization leading a highperforming team and ensuring our financial health. Reporting to the COO youll drive strategic decisionmaking provide insightful financial guidance and help us navigate the opportunities and challenges ahead.
Financial Leadership: Leading our finance function with vision and integrity; accounting cash management budgeting forecasting financial reporting planning and analysis grant reporting and tax reporting. Maintain internal controls policies procedures and compliance with GAAP and relevant financial tax and corporate regulations.
Strategic Growth: Partner with senior leaders to drive strategic decisionmaking and align financial strategies with organizational goals.
People & Culture Focus: Lead and inspire highperforming finance and IT teams fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration.
Optimize financial systems: Superuser of Unanet GovCon ERP. Develop and manage processes to ensure accurate timely and reliable data for decisionmaking.
Innovation & Efficiency: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement bestinclass financial systems and processes.
Risk & Compliance: Ensure financial sustainability risk management and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Education & Credentials
A degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (Masters/MBA is a plus)
CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred
Experience & Expertise
8 years of professional finance experience ideally in a highgrowth organization
5 years in nonprofit accounting (preferred)
Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze evaluate and drive datainformed decisions
Experience leading and managing finance and administration functions strategic planning and risk assessment
Tech & Systems Knowledge
Poweruser in Unanet GovCon ERP or similar cloudbased ERP and financial management software
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Google Suite and productivity tools (e.g. Slack Microsoft Word email)
Leadership & Communication
Proven team leadership and management experience you know how to inspire mentor and collaborate
Strong proficiency in English you can communicate clearly and confidently in speaking reading and writing making complex financial information accessible to all.
Multilingual skills are a plus! If you speak additional languages thats a bonus! We value diverse perspectives and global collaboration.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills finance doesnt live in a silo and you love making numbers accessible to all
Strong independent initiative with the ability to manage responsibilities and deadlines without inperson supervision

Compensation: This is an exempt position with a salary range of $130000 $150000 annually
