Job Title: Full Stack Mobile Developer
Location: Remote Brazil preferred; open to South America)
Salary Range: Based on experience (very competitive)
Company Overview
We are a fastgrowing sports & fitness brand providing Smart Equipment that connects with mobile devices to offer interactive instruction track progress and motivate users through our App. Our ARpowered app helps youth athletes enhance their basketball and soccer skills similar to Peloton but for sports training. With tens of thousands of paying users we are expanding our team to further develop our soccer training app.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Mobile Developer to lead the development and maintenance of our soccer training app. This is a highimpact role where you will work closely with our product team to implement new features enhance app performance and scale our platform to serve a growing user base. This role is fully remote with a preference for candidates based in Brazil or other South American countries.
Key Responsibilities

Mobile App Development: Build and maintain engaging userfacing features for iOS and Android using React Native.

Backend Development: Develop and optimize backend systems with Django (Python) including RESTful API design and database management.

Database Management: Create and maintain relational database schemas optimize queries and ensure data integrity.

Performance Optimization: Scale React Native apps to support 100k MAUs ensuring sub2s Time to Interface (TTI) metrics.

Collaboration & Communication: Work directly with the product team and founder to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Proactive ProblemSolving: Take ownership of the entire development process identifying and addressing potential challenges.
Requirements

Experience: 5 years of professional mobile development experience with frontend and backend expertise.

Tech Stack:

React Native (Primary Frontend Framework)

Django (Python) for Backend Development

MySQL or other relational databases (Schema design query optimization database management)

RESTful API design and implementation

Cloud & Deployment: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) for scaling and deployment.

Soft Skills: Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) ability to work independently and comfort collaborating remotely.

Work Schedule: Preferred availability is 9 AM 5 PM Eastern Time (flexible within reason).
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with native mobile development (Kotlin Swift) alongside React Native.

Experience working in a fastpaced startup environment.
