Job Description

Our client is looking for a Publicist to be a part of a vibrant celebration of fabulous individuals advocating for gender equality and respect for all from June to August 2025.This inclusive event features theatre productions workshops film screenings talks exhibitions and more providing a platform for marginalized groups in South Africa.Prepare media strategy in line with Artscapes Marketing Strategy

Key Responsibilities:

Draft media releases and manage media communications
Schedule interviews and coverage across all platforms
Coordinate publicity shoots and media launches
Engage with social media influencers and manage ticket giveaways
Track media coverage and compile reports



Requirements

Proven success in generating media coverage in the arts and culture sector
Strong social media and internet content creation skills
Bilingual proficiency in Afrikaans and English
Extensive knowledge of event dynamics and media landscape
