We are seeking an Analytics Studnetfor our North American Headquarters (Edmonton AB) who are available for8 months starting in September 2022.
Heres how aAnalytics Studentfor our Edmonton NAHQoffice contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains reports and dashboards
- Translates business needs into production reports and dashboards
- Acquires data from a variety of structured and unstructured data sources
- Provides technical support and assistance to report and dashboard consumers
- Creates and maintain process and system documentation
- Participates in advanced analytics projects
- Liaises with business technology and support teams to ensure business requirements are met
- Identifies and suggests improvements to existing solutions and processes
- Quality assurance / system testing
Qualifications
- management related program
- Keen interest in data management as it applies to business intelligence and analytics
- Ability to quickly gain proficiency in new software
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is preferred
- Experience with relational databases and SQL is preferred but not required
- Experience with programming languages such as Python and C# is preferred but not required
- In addition to the technical skills listed above the ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent problemsolving skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment be flexible stay organized and maintain attention to detail and accuracy
