Job Description

Posting Summary
The Department of Pathology Immunology and Laboratory Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor Associate Professor or Professor level in the Section of Surgical Pathology in the Division of Anatomic Pathology. The section is responsible for performance of surgical pathology laboratory services at University Hospital the schools 519 bed tertiary care core teaching hospital. The successful candidate will be a member of the Surgical Pathology team consulting with clinical staff participating in tumor boards as well as active participants in the educational programs of the Department including teaching medical students residents and will be expected to engage in productive research activities. In addition participation on the autopsy service will be required and participation on the cytology service is preferred. The successful candidate would be expected to be a liaison to the breast surgical service. University Hospital has bustling breast surgical services particularly with the recent recruitment of another breast surgeon allowing for a rich clinical and research experience.
