Job Description of Head Forge Master M/s Kisaan Steels Private Limited Ghaziabad
Purpose:
Manage the Open forging 810 Tons Single Piece) with associated facilities for Materials CS
Alloy SS Duplex materials for our Forging Facility.
He should have a pleasing personality. This role requires maturity patience and high level of
objectivity. He will be responsible for leading the Forging team consisting a team of
supervisors Forman and Forging Contractors.
Since this profile is versatile he is also expected to ensure implementation of prevailing
systems and procedures and strive to adopt good Practices with an eye for progressively
improving the Bottom line and Top Line as well.
He will be reporting to CEO as HOD Forge Shop)
Roles and Responsibilities:
a. Plant Operations
b. Customer Quality
c. Business Volume Enhancement New Product Development
d. Project Planning for New Plant/Factory SetUp Industrial Management System and
Business Development.
e. Accountability of Shift output Quality Uptime of Machine Productivity and Performance.
f. Ensure best Forging Practices in the shop.
g. To implement the lean process of manufacturing.
h. Troubleshooting in Forging Shop and Analyse and make CAPA.
i. To Ensure best results from supporting departments Maintenance Tool room Etc).
j. Preparation of forging drawings with optimised allowance for standards and special
components
k. High level of integrity
Key Skills :
a. Man Management
b. Leading from the front
c. Drawing reading and interpretations
d. Metallurgy of materials with special reference to CSSS Alloy Steels Duplex
e. Aware of various material grades
f. Application of quenching processes for the materials mentioned above.
g. Maintenance of Hammers and all Associated facilities eg. Furnace Manipulators
Hydraulic presses Oil Chillers and Heat Exchangers
Essential / Preferable Requirements:
a. Educational Qualification: BE/ B.Tech / DME
b. Industry experience / Exposure : Preferably Small & Medium Forging industry
minimum of 4 Years for BE/B.Tech or 6 Years for DME
c. Excellent Communicator English / Hindi
troubleshooting in forging shop,man management,process optimization,leading from the front,team management,metallurgy of materials (cs, ss, alloy steel, duplex),project management,communication skills,application of quenching processes,problem solving,analytical thinking,leadership skills,maintenance of hammers and associated facilities,quality control,lean manufacturing processes,safety compliance,drawing reading and interpretations
