Location/Division Specific Information:
The stateoftheart multipurpose manufacturing facility is crafted for largescale production of biologics and has high expansion potential. After completion of construction activities our site in Lengnau will offer highly flexible biomanufacturing technologies from development to largescale production including stainless steel equipment to meet our customer needs.
How Will You Make an Impact:
As a Manufacturing Professional/Lead Formulation Technician you conduct the production of recombinant products by operating automated production equipment and support project teams in the design commissioning qualification and validation of new production lines for recombinant products.
A Day in the Life:
- Lead operational readiness and Inspection readiness in MBP Equipment preparation weigh and dispense areas.
- Participates in Technology Transfer of new products.
- Supports CVQ PQ EM activities
- Process Validation
- responsible for the daily of manufacturing activities in USP DSP or support area (media buffer preparation equipment cleaning and preparation).
- Acts as first point of contact and reference within manufacturing team regarding training and troubleshooting.
- Owns Work Instructions and SOP in their area.
- Instigate Manufacturing Excellence initiatives in order to run robustly and efficiently.
- Participates in defining robust process parameters during routine manufacturing campaigns.
- Participate in New Product Introduction activities
Education:
- Degree in Pharma Chemistry or Food
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience in a manufacturing operations production lab setting or related field
- Experience working in a cGMP environment
Skills:
- Fluent in either English or German
- Willingness to learn
- Hands on mentality
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- work on a shift rotation model this includes regular Weekend and public holiday work as well as night work 3shift)
- Oncall duties is expected
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
