Join the Close Brothers Technology team where you will supportthe architecture value proposition helping to develop the team individuals and enhance the function.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in providing day to day architectural leadership for programmes and projects with excellent collaboration and relationship buildingskills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the definition of the solution from idea through to delivery.
- Assessing Close Brothers and external IT systems to ensure they address the requirements.
- Producing outline solution designs to show how the solution meets the requirements
- Working with subject matters experts partners and other solution architects to produce an approved solution design including any ancillary artefacts
- Ensuring that any knowledge repositories (e.g. application catalogues application designs service designs etc. impacted by a change are kept up to date
- Where necessary producing or contributing to Request for Information (RFI) and/or Request for Proposal (RFP) to address gaps in the current Close Brothers application / capability catalogue
- Ensuring that any artefacts produced go through a robust quality assurance and sign off process
- Make sure that any designs new technology etc. are presented at and approved by the Banks governance forums.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
- Experience of leading larger projects (circa > 2m) and providing direction to other analysts and architects.
- Ableto collaborate and build strong and wellrespected relationships with peer levels in different groups.
- An Innovative creative thinker with a flexible approach to Strategy Architecture and Development.
- Experience with designing and delivering complex architecture including multi domain business and IT applications e.g. database webbased applications loan management batch processing CRM etc
- Experience of designing and delivering solutions in a Financial Services environment
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:

Experience in developing principles patterns and standards

Experience of the full software development lifecycle.

Experience in Modelling (UML ArchiMate) Architecture Modelling Tools (Sparx EA)Threat Modelling (DREAD STRIDE)Agile Principles and MethodologiesFinancial Services / Regulated Industries Salesforce (Sales and Service Cloud) API Gateways / API Management / Microservices (REST/JSON)
