Job Description:
Responsible for daytoday supervision of front office nurses or other clinicians and allied health staff.
COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Frye Regional Medical Center located in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina is a 355bed acute care hospital 81bed Behavioral Health facility and more than 70 primary and specialty care providers.
Essential Functions
1. Participates in the hiring supervision and evaluation of assigned staff.
2. Schedules staffing to meet changing workload needs.
3. Coordinates the daily operations of the physician office including the medical records process patient and physician scheduling controlling the front desk accounts payable confirming appointments office supplies and insurance verification.
4. Charge entry and patient balance processing.
5. Monitor and audit cash/payment funds.
6. Daily reconciliation of charges and payments.
7. Provides professional and technical support to staff and troubleshoots the delivery of patient care.
8. Identifies training needs for staff and facilitates staff development. Participates in the development implementation and evaluation of training orientation and education programs
9. Develops implements monitors and evaluates quality assurance activities ensuring compliance with standards laws regulations and procedures. Recommends new and/or revised policies and procedures to the department manager.
10. Reviews and uses clinical and medical records to determine health care patterns and assignment of appropriate resources. Ensures corrective actions.
11. Additional responsibilities as needed.

Minimum Education
Associates degree required.
Clinical license preferred.
Years of experience can be considered in lieu of education.
Minimum Work Experience
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a medical office setting.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
