Job Description
The Assistant Mens Basketball Coach will support the Head Coach in all aspects of the mens basketball program at McMurry University. This includes assisting with recruitment coaching player development and administrative responsibilities. The assistant coach is expected to uphold the mission of McMurry University and ensure compliance with all university American Southwest Conference and NCAA Division III policies and guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a related field. One to two years of coaching experience at the college high school or club level. Strong communication leadership and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals within the university and community. Commitment to the academic and personal development of studentathletes.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in a related field. Two or more years of collegelevel coaching experience. Experience competing or coaching at the NCAA Division III level. Knowledge of NCAA Division III recruiting regulations.
